For those students who received a “Prep for The Prep” letter in their admission packets in January, please read, complete, and submit the form below. Note that this program will only be offered to those students who received said letter in their admission packets.
As a condition to your acceptance, the Admission Committee has determined that you must complete our 8-day summer program in, Writing, Math Skills, or both subject areas. Please refer to your admission packet for complete details. Should you have lost your letter or, if you are unsure as to whether or not this program will apply to you, please contact the Admission Office directly.
You will be able to choose between Sessions I and II as outlined below. The Writing Workshop is designed to introduce the student to the Seton Hall Prep Writing Rubric and the demanding skills that he will be asked to demonstrate. The Pre-Algebra course is designed to provide a boost to the student who may need additional work on his math skills. All classes are eight days in duration, meeting from either 8:00-10:15 am or 10:30 am -12:45 pm. Attendance at all classes for the courses you are taking is mandatory.

- Session 1: June 23-26 & June 30-July 3 (8 days)
- Writing (8:00 am - 10:15 am)
- Mathematics (10:30 am - 12:45 pm)
- Session 2: July 8-11 & July 14-17 (8 days)
- Mathematics (8:00 am - 10:15 am)
- Writing (10:30 am - 12:45 pm)
Transportation: Parents are responsible for all transportation. The school building opens at 7:00 am. Please note that the Dining Hall is not open during Summer School. Students who are taking both classes may wish to bring a snack. For students who are participating in sports camps at the Kelly Athletic Complex (KAC), coaches are understanding of the need to participate in Prep for The Prep. Students may walk to the KAC or arrange transportation after their classes have finished.
Tuition: $400 per course (fee will be added to your tuition statement for August)
