    High School Mathematics Teacher – 2026-2027 school year
     
    We are seeking a certified Math Teacher to teach traditional high school courses (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus, depending on need)

    Candidates should be able to foster a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment that promotes student growth and academic excellence.

    Primary Responsibilities
    • Deliver clear, well‑planned instruction aligned with department and school curriculum.
    • Hold students to high academic standards while providing appropriate support and feedback.
    • Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
    • Maintain accurate grading, records, and communication with students and families.
    • Collaborate with department members on curriculum, pacing, and common assessments.
    • Support students through extra help, office hours, or academic support programs.
    • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
    • Uphold school policies and contribute positively to school culture.
    • Commitment to the school’s mission and values
    • Willingness to support extracurricular activities or school programs as needed
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field.  Master’s degree preferred)
    • Valid state teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification)
    • Strong content knowledge and effective classroom management skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues
    • Commitment to student-centered teaching and continuous professional growth
