Pirates Academy

Pirates Academy

While providing a wealth of educational opportunities, The Pirates Academy will introduce students to many of our other activities in an enjoyable, rewarding environment. Whether developing a product on our 3D printers, preparing for our Math and English courses, performing a lab in our state-of-the-art science wing, or working with one of our renowned Varsity coaches, our Pirates Academy students will experience tremendous learning.

DUE TO THE COVID RESTRICTIONS, WE ARE PLANNING ON HAVING ONE SESSION OF PIRATES ACADEMY (AUGUST 10-14). SINCE WE HAVE TO CAP THE ENROLLMENT AT A LOWER NUMBER, ALL NEW REGISTRANTS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITLIST. IF YOU WISH TO SIGN UP FOR THE THAT, PLEASE CLICK THE AUGUST 10-14 WAITLIST REGISTRATION TO THE RIGHT.

Most days are 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. (Students must bring lunch and drinks each day.) We might not be permitted to take the August 13 rafting trip, but if we do, we will return to Seton Hall Prep at 4 pm.
There will not be any transportation available for Pirates Academy - other than public transportation. Participants may be dropped off at SHP as early as 8 am each morning.

Please email Mr. David Snyder '89 or Mr. Pete Durning '06 if you have any questions regarding the Pirates Academy.

*Financial Assistance may be available for students who would typically qualify for our Griffin Bridges Program. Please email the Director of Griffin Bridges Program, Mr. LaQuan Ford, to see if you qualify.
