Pirates Academy

Pirates Academy, a week-long summer program hosted at Seton Hall Prep, will introduce students to all of the aspects of our school while providing a wealth of educational opportunities. Students will prepare for the Math and English portions of our entrance exam, participate in co-curricular activities, gain an understanding of our school culture, meet our renowned Varsity coaches, and make new friends during their week in our program. Most importantly, Pirates Academy students will learn the skills and the mindset that will help them thrive at Seton Hall Prep.

Students must bring lunch and drinks each day.

Transportation is not provided for Pirates Academy. Participants may be dropped off at SHP as early as 8AM each morning.

We are excited to offer three sessions of Pirates Academy in 2024:

Session 1: June 17-21.
Session 2: June 24-28.
Session 3: July 8-12.

Participants register for one session only.
Cost: $475 due upon registration. Pirates Academy has sold out every year, and registration is based on a first-come-first-served basis.

THE RAFTING TRIP: The rafting trip is scheduled for each Wednesday of Pirates Academy - with a rain date on Thursday. Parents drop off their sons at Smithfield Beach at 10:15 am, but are welcome to watch us push off. Parents will pick up their sons at the Delaware Water Gap about 3-4 hours after we begin the trip. We encourage parents to carpool and many of them go to the Crossings Outlets during the trip. Many more details regarding this trip are included in a letter you receive upon registration.
