Pirates Football Stuns Don Bosco, 20-7

On the 20th  anniversary of 9-11, Pirates Football unloaded more than four decades of baggage yesterday with a stunning 20-7 upset of No.3 Don Bosco, the team's first win over the Ironmen since 1976. The Hall's defense stifled the Bosco running and passing games, while the Pirate offense cashed in on Myles Thomason's 131 rushing yards on 25 carries (with a touchdown), QB Jaden Craig's 259 passing yards (18/36) and Nick Dunneman's 7 catches for 147 yards and a TD. Seton Hall, ranked No.8 going in to the contest, will face St. Peter's next Saturday at Caven Point, Jersey City. [view the photos]
