Seton Hall Prep is New Jersey’s oldest Catholic college preparatory school. The Prep's tradition is matched by its commitment to the education of young men by teaching them to think critically, communicate effectively and become contributing members of society.
At Seton Hall Prep, students participate in many of the amazing offerings available to them outside of the classroom. This includes 15 sports, more than 70 activities and clubs, a variety of intramurals and a seemingly endless number of service projects.
“To equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the extent of the full stature of Christ.”
Last Friday night The Prep renewed its Annual Dodgeball Tournament, this year in support of The GIST Cancer Research Fund. A dozen six-man teams competed in five rounds of round-robin dodgeball preliminaries in Tracey Gym, with the teams then seeded into a single elimination tourney. Emerging as winners were the number 1 seed, the Egg Yolks, a team of Seton Scholars—Slok Jariwala, Michael Massa, Bryan Grullon, Matthew Rodgers, Brian Arnold, and Jack Angelica. In a hard fought championship battle they knocked off the the Cinderella story eleventh seed, The Beton Ballers, made up of Zach Lukas, Christian Ramundo, Derek Hart, Chris Rossini, Ben Chambeau, and Jack Gehringer. The night's fun resulted in a $1000 contribution to the GIST Fund. [view the photos]
