Excited for Full Return in 2021-2022 – Steps to Continue on the Road Back

SHP Students and Parents,

I commend everyone on their perseverance through this unique and challenging school year. I am not sure anyone knew quite what to expect heading in as we adopted an entire new set of Covid-19 protocols, safety measures, and navigated everchanging barriers to normalcy. I am proud of our teachers and students for going above and beyond to preserve The Prep experience, and I know we are all eager to return to an unhindered lifestyle.

One way to help ensure an uninterrupted school year in 2021-2022 is for our faculty and student body to get vaccinated. Doing so will not only help keep our community healthy and safe as a whole, but also ensure your son does not experience a shut down or quarantine like so many endured this year.

According to the CDC, everyone 12 years of age and older is now eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination and studies show that Covid-19 vaccines are safe and effective.

We want you to enjoy every aspect of life here at The Prep, and our students, faculty, and staff getting vaccinated is a major step in fulfilling that goal.

As we head into the summer, we will be in communication with you as new guidelines unfold. Please make sure your email address in the portal is accurate so you do not miss any updates.

Lastly, this article by Summit Health is a good resource for those who are apprehensive about reacclimating to in-person social interactions.
