Jerry Barca '95 Produced And Wrote "Hesburgh", A Film Of The Rev. Theodore Hesburgh, The President Of The University Of Notre Dame

Jerry Barca ’95 produced and wrote “Hesburgh” which made its world premiere before a sold out theater at the American Film Institute’s documentary film festival in Washington, D.C. on June 17, 2018. The Washington Post called the biographical documentary “One of the festival’s most stirring films.” The film captures Rev. Theodore Hesburgh, the longtime president of the University of Notre Dame, “as a leader who bridged all manner of divides within American politics and the Catholic Church,” according to The Post.
