front dawn

School is closed for March 21 due to weather conditions. The Junior Retreat scheduled for March 27 has been postponed until after AP exams, and Tuesday will be a regular school day for all students. The Faculty Retreat scheduled for March 28 has been cancelled and Wednesday will be a regular school day as well.

While students typically enter Seton Hall Prep in the 9th grade, we do occasionally accept transfer students into the 10th and 11th grades. In order to be considered for admission as a transfer student, an applicant must

  • Complete and return the Seton Hall Prep Application for Admission.
  • At the end of the 3rd marking period of the current year, submit transcripts covering all previous high school coursework. In order to do this, complete the Transcript Release Form and then forward it to the applicant's guidance counselor at his current school so that he/she can submit the records to Seton Hall Prep's Admission Office.
  • Upon review of grades, qualified applicants are contacted for an interview with the Director of Admission, usually during the month of May.

Admission for transfer students is based on the applicant’s academic performance in high school and his performance in the interview. Transfers applicants do not take the Seton Hall Prep Admission Exam.

Applications for transfer are accepted after April 1st and decisions are generally sent home in early June.
