  Gifts to the Annual Fund provide nearly 10% of our operating budget each year, directly supporting the people and programs that make Seton Hall Prep exceptional. Contributions designated to the “The Annual Fund” give the School the flexibility to respond to its most pressing priorities. 

• Athletics 

  With more than 600 students participating in athletics and an extraordinary 394 championships, sports are a defining part of The Prep experience. From facilities and equipment to training and travel, the generosity of our community ensures that Seton Hall Prep athletics continue to thrive at the highest level. 

• Faculty & Professional Development

  With an average faculty tenure of 24 years, Seton Hall Prep is sustained by educators deeply committed to our mission. Your Annual Fund gift empowers these dedicated professionals to continue growing in their craft through ongoing training and development, ensuring our students learn from the very best 

• Griffin Bridges Program

  The Griffin Bridges Program provides educational, financial, and social support to empower academically talented young men from the Greater Newark Area to access the life‑changing opportunities of a Seton Hall Prep education. With 100% of Griffin Bridges Scholars accepted to four‑year colleges, your support helps open doors, transform futures, and strengthen our community.  

• Karios

  Each year, more than 300 students voluntarily embark on the three‑day Kairos retreat, a signature Seton Hall Prep experience described by participants as “spiritually transformative” and “the best thing I’ve done at The Prep.” Your support helps sustain this powerful journey of faith, reflection, and brotherhood that leaves a lasting impact on our young men. 

• Performing & Fine Arts

  With 60% of students participating in the arts, music, and theater are vibrant cornerstones of the Seton Hall Prep experience. Your support strengthens our performing and fine arts programs and enhances the collaborative productions that bring together talented performers from The Prep and our sister schools. 

• Technology & Innovation

  Seton Hall Prep integrates technology across every subject, ensuring students graduate with the skills needed for college and beyond. With dedicated PC and Mac labs, campus‑wide connectivity, and full Microsoft 365 access, The Prep invests in tools that support learning, creativity, and innovation. Your support helps sustain this forward‑thinking environment and keeps our students future‑ready. 

• Tuition Assistance

  Tuition assistance ensures that The Prep welcomes a dynamic, diverse, and deserving student body each fall. More than 50% of students receive scholarships or financial aid, shaping a learning community enriched by their voices, talents, and contributions. With $4.3 million awarded annually, your support helps open the doors of a Seton Hall Prep education to young men who will thrive because of it and strengthen our school in return.
