SHP Spring Musical, Into the Woods: May 7th - 9th

Inspired by Grimm’s fairy tales, this captivating reimagining of Stephen Sondheim’s classic sees the Baker and his Wife setting out on a daring quest to break a powerful curse—crossing paths with iconic characters such as Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel. Each carries their own hopes and heartaches into the woods, but soon discover that wishes come true at a cost. As dreams are granted and realities shift, the characters must face the consequences of their choices and learn that “happily ever after” is far more complicated than it seems. Featuring Sondheim’s unforgettable score, this production promises a magical, moving, and exhilarating experience for audiences of all ages.

Performed in the Bayley Seton Auditorium on May 7^th, 8^th, and 9^th, all at 7pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm. SHP’s theater program is a rapidly expanding program of over 80 student performers and production participants. Recent productions of both The Wedding Singer and Little Shop of Horrors drew massive crowds and high praise.
