Seton Hall Prep is New Jersey’s oldest Catholic college preparatory school. The Prep's tradition is matched by its commitment to the education of young men by teaching them to think critically, communicate effectively and become contributing members of society.
At Seton Hall Prep, students participate in many of the amazing offerings available to them outside of the classroom. This includes 15 sports, more than 70 activities and clubs, a variety of intramurals and a seemingly endless number of service projects.
“To equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the extent of the full stature of Christ.”
Students Proudly Present Hazard Zet Forward Podcast
As our school continues to integrate Hazard Zet Forward into action, students have launched a new podcast aimed at sharing stories of moving forward despite inevitable challenges everyone faces on a daily basis.
Seniors Tommy DiNardo, Andrew Burkitt, and Jack Snyder are the podcasts' cohosts, while Senior Sebastian Studzinski (editor) and Junior John Raso (engineer) each contribute behind the scenes.
Students hope that the podcast - which can be found on YouTube, Apple Podcast, and Spotify - can help serve as a guide that everyone can use in their daily lives.
As they put it: "We began this podcast with the intent to share the stories of people who dealt with challenges in their lives so that all of us can learn from them. We hope our listeners can find a bit of practicality in dealing with life’s challenges. Our school’s motto, Hazard Zet Forward, was the motto of the Seton Family and basically means 'Despite the obstacles in life, we must move forward.' Challenges come in all sizes, but each one is part of the path we must navigate. Hazard Zet Forward reminds us that, despite the obstacles, we continue the journey — and in that journey, we hope you discover a deeper contentment in life."
