The Class of 2026 officially Graduate from The Prep
Seton Hall Prep honored its Class of 2026 with the traditional Baccalaureate Mass and Awards Ceremony at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart followed by the school's 166th Commencement Exercises at Seton Hall University. Prior to graduation weekend, seniors were also honored prior to their final day of classes at the Celebration of Excellence assembly in early May.
Thursday's (5/28) Baccalaureate Mass and Awards Ceremony honored students who achieved excellence across a variety of academic disciplines, and exceptional involvement and success in extracurricular programs.
On Saturday (5/30) seniors were awarded Seton Hall Prep diplomas, and the crowd was addressed by school Headmaster, Mr. Michael G. Gallo '79, Chaplain, Fr. Bogumil Misiuk '08, Salutatorian, Jacob J. Falconer, Director of College Placement, Mr. Ben Laster, and Valedictorian, Joseph N. Pontoriero. The graduates were presented by Dean of Faculty, Mrs. Lisa Sgaramella. To conclude the ceremony, Assistant to the President, Fr. Bogumil Misiuk '08, gave a final blessing and Director of Alumni Relations, Mr. Matthew Nesto '12, welcomed these young men into the alumni association.
Three major awards were bestowed upon students during the ceremony, including:
