SHP Celebrates Over 100 NHS Inductees

On Thursday, March 12th, the Seton Hall Prep community gathered to celebrate the 2026 inductees of the National Honor Society, recognizing over 100 seniors and juniors for their outstanding commitment.

15 members of the class of 2026, and 92 members of the class of 2027 were recognized for their outstanding commitment to the four pillars of the National Honor Society (NHS): Scholarship, Service, Integrity, and Leadership. To become a member of the NHS, a student must maintain an overall GPA of 4.2 and commit to 20 hours of service for the school or community.

Headmaster Michael G. Gallo '79 and Director of School Counseling Chris Barnitt '88 offered congratulatory remarks to the inductees, encouraging them to continue being leaders within the school community. The four officers of the NHS - Brady Manzo, Lucas Vitali, Gavin Macdonald, and Mattson Palmer - offered reflections on the pillars of the National Honor Society.

Each student received the certificate from Dean of Academics Dave Snyder '89 & Dean of Faculty Mrs. Lisa Sgaramella, and then received a NHS membership pin from the officers.

We congratulate these students on this impressive achievement. PHOTOS
