Seton Hall Prep is New Jersey’s oldest Catholic college preparatory school. The Prep's tradition is matched by its commitment to the education of young men by teaching them to think critically, communicate effectively and become contributing members of society.
At Seton Hall Prep, students participate in many of the amazing offerings available to them outside of the classroom. This includes 15 sports, more than 70 activities and clubs, a variety of intramurals and a seemingly endless number of service projects.
“To equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the extent of the full stature of Christ.”
SHP's Diversity Council & Black Students Society host this year’s “More than History” Gathering
Seton Hall Prep’s Diversity Council and Black Students Society came together to host this year’s “More than History” gathering, inviting students to engage with perspectives and stories beyond their own and to recognize Black history as an essential part of American history.
The program encouraged reflection on the progress made across generations, while inspiring students to consider how they can continue fostering an inclusive and respectful community rooted in our shared faith values.
Students were reminded to be the change and to keep dreaming toward a more just and compassionate world. As Galatians 3:28 teaches us, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
