Seton Hall Prep is New Jersey’s oldest Catholic college preparatory school. The Prep's tradition is matched by its commitment to the education of young men by teaching them to think critically, communicate effectively and become contributing members of society.
At Seton Hall Prep, students participate in many of the amazing offerings available to them outside of the classroom. This includes 15 sports, more than 70 activities and clubs, a variety of intramurals and a seemingly endless number of service projects.

Quiz Bowl wins International Academic Competitions NJ Championship
Seton Hall Prep's Quiz Bowl team won the International Academic Competitions New Jersey State Championships at Ridgewood High School on Saturday, Jan. 17, qualifying for Nationals in April.
The Prep's Quiz Bowl A-Team - consisting of Aidan Lutz '27 (captain), Quentin Cunningham '28, Cameron Bonanno '27, Jack Jerow '27, and Luke Rocha '27 - took down the International Academic Competitions New Jersey State Championships at Ridgewood High School on January 17th. Their final match featured a truly dominant performance against Bridgewater-Raritan HS, clinching victory with 6 questions remaining in the final round.
The Prep's B-team - Mario Bagnara '27 (captain), Eamon McConnon '27, Thomas Cannizzo '27, and Rishi Raina '29 - also competed, earning valuable experience and allowing some of our newer players to get some playing time.
Their championship performance qualified for an invite to the 2026 Varsity and JV National Championships, scheduled for April 23-26, 2026, at the Crystal City Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.
