Seton Hall Prep is New Jersey’s oldest Catholic college preparatory school. The Prep's tradition is matched by its commitment to the education of young men by teaching them to think critically, communicate effectively and become contributing members of society.
At Seton Hall Prep, students participate in many of the amazing offerings available to them outside of the classroom. This includes 15 sports, more than 70 activities and clubs, a variety of intramurals and a seemingly endless number of service projects.
Educating the whole man includes teaching a true understanding of the importance of service and actually participating in the service of others in need.
Intermountain Healthcare Sends Response Teams to New York
As Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Intermountain Healthcare, David L. Flood '84, is a key part of the leadership team that just deployed two 50-member response teams this past week to battle Covid-19 at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Northwell Health, from their headquarters in Utah.
"I'm blessed and privileged to serve within the system's executive team that supports and applauds these impassioned nurses and doctors," David said. "These are the brave and dedicated volunteers who left their families during a pandemic to help others. The example of 'love thy neighbor' embodied by those caregivers and their supportive families at this challenging time is just incredible and inspirational to all of us."
President Msgr. Michael E. Kelly '57 commented, "David has exemplified the spirit of The Prep by identifying how his company’s resources and expertise could help save lives and selflessly assist areas that are in critical need. We are proud to have alumni and Board members like David making such a positive impact in times like these.”
David is a member of Seton Hall Prep’s Board of Trustees. After graduating from The Prep in 1984, he went on to receive both bachelor and master degrees from Seton Hall University, where he also serves on the Board of Regents. Early on his career, David served in the alumni offices at SHP and at SHU. Prior to his current role at Intermountain Healthcare, David held leadership roles in healthcare and education, most recently as president of the Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations in New Jersey.
