At Seton Hall Prep, students participate in many of the amazing offerings available to them outside of the classroom. This includes 15 sports, more than 70 activities and clubs, a variety of intramurals and a seemingly endless number of service projects.

National Honor Society Inducts a New Class

Last night the Walter McMahon Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 75 new members at a ceremony in the Bayley Seton Auditorium. Following a welcome by NHS Adviser John Henrikson, Prep senior and NHS officer Patrick Blaesser, serving as master of ceremonies, introduced SHP President Msgr. Michael E. Kelly for an invocation, Assistant Headmasters Lisa Sgaramella and Dr. James Incardona, and Headmaster Michael Gallo for welcomes and remarks...

The members of the administration were followed by NHS officers Aidan Dunphy, Kenneth Taylor, Brian Fok, and George Haddad, who each lit a candel representing one of the qualities each of the members is called to model. In turn each of the officers took to the podium to offer remarks on one of those four pillars of the organization— character, leadership, service and academic excellence. Wrapping up the ceremony, each of the inductees was called forward to receive a certificate of membership and and his NHS lapel pin.
