The success of The "Generations" Capital Campaign has already impacted Seton Hall Prep in a profound way thanks to the generosity and goodness of so many Prep alumni, family and friends. Over the past six years, we have been blessed to witness the construction of the state-of-the-art John J. Murphy '52 Science Center, the completion of four athletic fields and three buildings at The Kelly Athletic Complex (KAC), the renovation of 14 classrooms, and the strengthening of the endowment. These developments will ensure that The Prep can continue to innovate while remaining rooted in our earliest Catholic Traditions.
In 2017, The Prep surpassed its increased goal of $25,000,000 for the ‘Generations Capital Campaign. Overall, $25,616,196 has been raised in cash and pledges from 323 donors, not including nearly $700,000 raised for the Brendan Tevlin ’13 Memorial Field Fund.
Throughout 2017, we have hosted dedication ceremonies at the Kelly Athletic Complex for the Reed Family Tennis Courts, Brendan Tevlin ‘13 Field, Billy Zimmermann ‘11 Scoreboard, Porcello Field, Tony Esposito, Jr. ’08 Concession Stand and the John B. Murray ’52 Fieldhouse.
I believe the advancements and improvements made as a result of this campaign will be felt by generations of young men, alumni and families of our beloved school.
