The annual Spring Musical is one of the most anticipated activities in the SHP line-up. Beginning with auditions around the new year, the production engages the talents of nearly 150 young men and women- Seton Hall Prep students, girls from neighboring high schools, as well as cast members' younger brothers and sisters. Under the direction of Arts Department Chairman Joseph Neglia, with professional musicians in the pit playing the score, by the time opening night rolls around in late April the production is ready to delight the three evening audiences.
Over the last decade the productions have included: AIDA 2012, Pirates of Penzance 2011, Jesus Christ Superstar 2010, Les Miserables 2009, Brigadoon 2008, Godspell 2007, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat 2006, Man of Lamancha 2005, Tommy 2004, The Scarlet Pimpernel 2003, Pirates of Penzance 2002, Oliver 2001, Oklahoma 2000 and The Music Man 1999.
