| | Student Life at Seton Hall Preparatory School involves many aspects. While at The Prep our students become involved in and exposed to myriad opportunities. Following upon the school’s philosophy and mission, these opportunities will help our students to grow academically, physically, socially and spiritually.
A hallmark of what has become known as The Prep Experience is the development of a strong sense of community. Through participation in activities and athletics, students have the opportunity to form meaningful and lasting friendships and to further their journey of becoming young men who reflect the school's goal of developing mature young men who can think clearly and act responsibly with consideration of others.
Students who best experience life at The Prep become involved in our numerous co-curricular, athletic, service and spiritual activities. The development of one’s talents in the arts, on the athletic field, or simply in the act of sharing knowledge or interests with others is an important part of the high school experience.
Complementing our curriculum and our activities program, a comprehensive and supportive counseling program and dynamic Campus Ministry and a variety of Community Service programs afford a student a number of venues through which he can get to know himself, others and his faith at a deeper level.
The Deans of Men are responsible for ensuring that the school environment enhances the students’ efforts to appropriately take part in all aspects of Prep Life. Consequently they are charged with managing attendance, transportation issues, the daily schedule and student discipline.
A school nurse and an Athletic Trainer provide full-time professional health related services.
