The column at right shows recommended usages; if you know how to do, it the files can be manipulated for other use. However, while shrinking the images is not usually a problem, enlarging the images, particularly those for the web, will result in blurry or pixilated [chunkified] images. If you would like a specially sized version, please call Richard Morris.

Further enhancements are possible, including the addition of the name of clubs, teams, etc. in banners or circles around these images. Please contact the Office of Communications if needed.

• NOTE: All versions of the Pirate are slightly rotated clockwise, as shown at left. This is already inherent in the files and should be maintained in useage.

• This modification of the popular 150th Anniversary logo is an "informal" logo, suitable for a variety of purposes. Call or email Richard Morris for information on receiving the proper file for your intended use.

• school name in FUTURA EXTRABOLD 40pt  typestyle, generally not available on most computers. This type face mimicks the face used on the two images below; for print [50k]. This image can easily be inserted into MS Word documents, and the like.
   

• blue, large, for print [262k]

• greyscale, 5x2, for print [150k]
• lineart, 10x2, for print [104k]
  [black/white, no shading, best suited for simple silk screen, etc]
   

• This version has inside shading, dark outline, for print [271k]. Probably not suited for silkscreen

• As suggested in "usage manuals" by most universities and professional organizations, the seal should be reserved for FORMAL pieces. T-shirts, class hand-outs, etc. should use one of the above images.
