The Prep's Mission is to foster the development of the students into mature members of a larger society, who can think clearly and make
informed value judgements, who can articulate their own thoughts and accurately interpret the thoughts of others, who can act responsibly with consideration for others and take their place as active members of a
pluralistic society. The Prep recognizes that each person pursues the goal of excellence in terms of his own abilities and limiations, and that each individual bears the primary responsibility for the development of
one's talents. The Prep seeks to promote the growth of the whole person by holding each student accountable for his actions, and by recognizing that consequences result from the failure to live up to one's
responsibilities. This is simply preparation for the realities of life and the challenges that lie ahead. Life at Seton Hall Prep is a wide-ranging experience. The development of the whole person demands that it be
so. The spirit, the mind and the body look for development and avenues of expresssion. The Prep experience involves Spiritual, Academic, Extracurricular and Athletic activities. The Prep's year-round programs provide
outlets for every sort of student expression.
