The Photography Class spends hours and hours in the dark, looking at slides by the masters and by contemporary
working photographers, as well as discussing the concepts that have raised this modern-day craft to an art form. But rather than be content with just looking, students get their own opportunity
to put the concepts into practice with their project work. This past year members of Photografx were from the Classes of 2006 and '07. Here are some samples. Some of the solutions called
for in these projects were: properties of light [refraction, reflection, absorption], New York City [from dry land and/or from across the water], The Egg, portraits, abstracts, motion,
time-exposures and still life, among others.
