BLEED BLUE WITH THE RICH AND FAMOUS

As you travel around during the 2004-05 school year, perhaps on vacation, bring your SHP BLEED BLUE shirt and your camera with you.

There's a $50 prize for the best picture of you in your SHP shirt at the most famous place [Bleed Blue at the Vatican, at the Super Bowl, at the Eiffel Tower, etc.]

There's another $50 prize for the best picture of you in your SHP shirt with the most famous person [Bleed Blue with Gisele, with George Bush, with Wayne Newton, with Montgomery Burns, etc.]

Both winners, as well as selected other entries, will be featured in the Tower Revisited and on this website.

c o  n  t  e  s  t     r  u  l  e  s  :

•  Contest is open only to current Seton Hall Prep students. However, we invite participation [for the joy of it and for publication, not the prize money] by faculty, parents and alumni.

•  Photo must FEATURE the SHP BLEED BLUE SHIRT [any year]. No other substitute SHP shirts are eligible. You must be WEARING the shirt. SHIRTS ARE AVAILABLE FROM MR. SNYDER.

•  Photos may be of almost any kind: prints, digital files, or slides. Although at the start of this contest it was intended to include "phone pictures" in the list of acceptable formats, the quality of these pictures is so abysmally poor for publishing that  they will not be accepted. Participants should note that one of the criteria for judging is the CLARITY of the photo. Prints must be at least 4x6 inches. Digital photos should be the highest resolution [biggest file] available [to enable publication of the photo in the Tower Revisited magazine.

•  "FAMOUS PLACE" photos should include an identifying landmark in the photo. [If you visit the Empire State Building, don't take it in the first floor lobby or in the snack bar, but rather on top, or with it in the background.

•  Proof of travel may be required in the case of winning entries. Save airline ticket stubs, Super Bowl sideline passes, etc. to prove you were actually there, and not standing in front of a cardboard cutout of the landmark.

•  Photos must be made available for publication on this site and in the Tower Revisited magazine.

•  Contest closes May 15, 2005.

•  Multiple entries by one person are permitted.

•  A minimum of 3 entries by different participants are necessary for the prize to be awarded in each category

•  Criteria for judging will include the notoriety and fame of the landmark or person, as well as the clarity of the photo.
