A little more than a year after the events of 9.11.01, even though the
views from Liberty State Park had lost their centerpiece, we decided that they had to return to the scene of some of the class's best work over the years. Added to the fact was that,
due to the hot and dry summer, peak fall foliage was yet to be found, so THAT trip would have to be delayed.Although late arriving cloud cover precluded the traditionally amazing
sunset shots we anticipated, the fall colors on the flags and the park's "interpretive nature walk" did provide welcome splashes of color. Rt. 280 traffic on the way back to West
Orange gave the class plenty of extra time to think over their "hits and misses."
