2007
January 4th's Young Alumni Day brought back the biggest crowd ever of recently minted alumni. Over 200 graduates from the past five years took advantage of their outrageously long college Christmas Breaks to spend an
afternoon at the Prep, renewing acquaintances with classmates, former teachers and counselors, as well as current students. Besides sporting their "freshman 15" [or 25] and an assortment of new hair, beard and sideburn
styles, they traded war stories about their college experiences, caught up on the where-abouts of fellow Pirates, reminisced about their days at the Hall, and visited old haunts [like the Dean of Men's Office] while
they enjoyed the refreshments supplied by the Office of Alumni Services. An interesting development of the last few years is how many recent graduates also took pains to catch up with some of the present
underclassmen, some of whom were freshmen when the graduates were Peer Leaders and the head of homerooms.
