Financial Assistance

Seton Hall Prep is able to offer limited financial assistance to its students, based on demonstrated financial need. Currently about 40% of the Prep's families receive some assistance with their tuition payments.
Incoming Freshmen may obtain a preliminary application for Financial Aid on the day of their Entrance Test. If this form is completed and returned by the designated date (TBA) in mid-January, a decision will be included with the acceptance letter. Returning students will be given applications in March. Final decisions on aid are announced by May 15. Every attempt is made to help as many families as possible that have legitimate need.

Scholarships

Students in the top 10% to 15% on the Seton Hall Prep Entrance/Placement/Scholarship Examination, who are "straight-A" type students, become candidates for monies designated by the Elsie E. and Joseph W. Beck Foundation Scholarship.
    Seton Hall Prep's
Thomas J. Griffin Bridges Program is a scholarship and mentoring program for inner city young men from Newark, Orange, East Orange and Irvington.
