- Application to the 10th and 11th grade may be made through the Admission Office. There is no exam for transfer students, but an interview is customary. At the end of the student's 3rd quarter, he must submit a
transcript covering his high school coursework and an "Application for Admission." If the grades meet our requirements the student will be contacted for an interview in May. Decisions will be mailed in June.
Important Note for Students taking the Diocesan CO-OP Exam:
- An applicant is selected for admission based upon his academic record and his scores on the Seton Hall Prep Entrance/Placement/Scholarship Test. If a student takes the Catholic School CO-OP Exam for his
Diocese in November, and wishes to apply to Seton Hall Prep, he still must sit for the Seton Hall Prep Entrance/Placement Scholarship Test. The Catholic School CO-OP Exam will not be used as a criterion
for admission to Seton Hall Prep. Additionally, be aware that Seton Hall Prep is not listed on the CO-OP Exam as one of the three possible choices that can receive the student's academic records. Students
interested in applying to Seton Hall Prep must use the Seton Hall Prep
Transcript Release & Application Form and have their grade school send their academic records to Seton Hall Prep.
