  • FRESHMAN FOR A DAY… To spend a day shadowing a Seton Hall Prep freshman, call Rosemary Shannon in the Admission Office at 973.325.6640. You may reserve a place beginning in October.
  • The Freshman for a Day Program is a great way for a prospective student to experience The Prep for the first time.  The program is open to 8th graders from October 1st until May 30th and open to 7th graders from March 1st until May 30th.To make an appointment to be a freshman for the day, please call Mrs. Rosemary Shannon inthe Admission Office at 973-325-6640. 
  • We do limit visitation to five visitors per day because of seat space in the classrooms, so please realize that he may not get his first choice of dates unless the appointment is made well in advance.If a student visits on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, he should arrive in the Admission Office at 8:30am. If the student visits on a Tuesday or a Friday, he should arrive in the Admission Office at 9:20am.The student can either bring or buy his lunch. If he is buying lunch, $5.00 is usually enough money. Each visitor should be dressed in a dress shirt, tie and khaki-type pants with shoes.
  • The visitor can also request a particular Prep freshman to be his host for the day whenmaking an appointment.The host must be a freshman. If he does not know a freshman whom he would like as his host, we will assign someone to him.The prospective student should be picked up in the Admission Office at 2:45pm.
